The track icon, reimagined

Just as the M 1000 RR pushes the boundaries of modern performance, the S 1000 RR pays tribute to BMW’s iconic World Superbike racing roots.
Born on the track to conquer the WSBK championship, the S 1000 RR translates pure racing DNA into a fully homologated, road-legal superbike for the world.

A Tribute Made Real

The CCGT1 takes the award-winning CC850 base to new heights, with racing-derived aerodynamics, a sequential shifter operating the Light Speed Transmission, and twin-turbo V8 power producing 1600 hp on E85 fuel. For the first time, Koenigsegg is also offering an optional, factory-designed track package, which takes the CCGT1’s circuit performance beyond anything we have ever offered before. Once fitted, the package transforms the CCGT1 from a world-class dynamic daily driver into Koenigsegg’s fastest-ever circuit performer.

S1000 RR Origins

Born in 2009 to dominate the Superbike World Championship, the BMW S 1000 RR completely rewrote the rules of high-performance motorcycles. Built around a high-revving 999cc inline-four engine, it introduced race-grade electronics, dynamic traction control, and unmatched power to the street. Its distinctive asymmetrical design and relentless track-focused engineering immediately shocked the competition, establishing a legendary superbike lineage that continues to define pure speed.

Engineered with sharp German precision, today's S 1000 RR features revolutionary ShiftCam variable valve timing. Delivering over 200 horsepower with aggressive low-end torque, it remains an uncompromising track weapon that redefines modern superbike performance on every apex.

Aero without compromise

The CCGT1 combines exceptional road performance with uncompromising track capability. Nearly every body panel has been redesigned to increase downforce and improve cooling.
Its active rear wing automatically adjusts between low drag, air brake and high downforce modes. A large front splitter and sculpted underfloor keep the car aerodynamically balanced, while integrated NACA ducts provide cooling during extended track use
The CCGT1 generates up to 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. Consistent aerodynamic performance under braking, cornering and acceleration gives the driver confidence at the limits of grip.

Power, perfectly delivered

The CCGT1 is powered by Koenigsegg’s proven twin turbo V8, producing 1280 hp on pump fuel and 1600 hp on E85 biofuel. A bespoke roof scoop and enhanced cooling systems ensure consistent performance during extended track use.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through the compact, ultra fast Light Speed Transmission. Drivers can choose the standard sequential shifter, designed to deliver rapid shifts with an authentic mechanical feel, or the optional six speed Engage Shift System.
Both systems offer paddle shifting, while the ESS adds a gated manual shifter, clutch pedal and fully automatic mode.
